Mission
The Mission Team is dedicated to providing outreach and support to our community, near and far, in all its dimensions.
Lower Valley Community Garden
Our garden is growing ... come grow with us
Our community garden was started in 2012 through the hard work of many of our parishioners. We have a number of plots which are dedicated to growing fresh produce for local food pantries. The remainder of the plots are leased by community members.
The garden also provides a place for community residents to come together to garden and get to know each other. The garden was such a success in 2012 that we added an additional eleven plots the following year and several more since.
Each season, we harvest a variety of tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, onions, potatoes, beets, greens, and more. The garden is helping meet the need of the local community to access fresh, healthy food throughout the spring, summer and fall.
If you would like to lease a plot for the upcoming season, please submit the following completed registration form to the church office with payment.
Open Cupboard Food Pantry

Family Promise of Hunterdon County
As the only homeless shelter for children and their families in Hunterdon County, Family Promise responds to the emergent need in our community. We have assisted Family Promise for many years with financial support.
Compassion International
We sponsor a child through Compassion International on an ongoing basis.
Appalachia Service Project
The Appalachia Service Project (ASP) is a regional group dedicated to providing warm and safe housing for families in need in Appalachia. Along with the Big Youth Group (BYG), we provide financial assistance and work teams which travel each summer to the area to help with home repairs and renovations.
